A Timeless, Elegant Reception Overlooking A Lush Green Golf Course.
Meg and Kyle’s Golf Club of Georgia wedding this past September was a memorable one! We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this beautiful couple’s wedding day and have shared images from their special day below!
Planning for a traditional midday Catholic church wedding, the couple opted to start their cocktail hour at The Golf Club of Georgia an hour and a half after their ceremony ended. This allowed them to optimize their time with their photographer to get these stunning shots on the golf course as they did not choose to do a first look.

The couple chose to host their cocktail hour and reception at the Golf Club of Georgia after touring several golf clubs. They ultimately chose the venue because of their modern ballroom with features such as the black wagon wheel chandeliers, the large built-in bar, and of course, the beautiful view overlooking their lush green golf course.
The bride opted for a neutral color palette with subtle touches of blue throughout the event. Stylish Stems created centerpieces composed of garden roses, hydrangeas, stock, spray roses, and lush greenery adorn the tall gold stands that were the focal point on guest tables. The carefully selected floral and decor elements created a cohesive aesthetic throughout the entirety of the event.

Careful planning that went into creating the wedding day timeline along with collaboration with the photographer, Maggie Nuun, of Second to Nunn Photography allowed the newlyweds sufficient time to sneak away from their reception to take these gorgeous sunset photos. The bride said the images seen here are some of her favorites from the entire wedding day! Pro Tip: the best time to take sunset photos is 30 minutes to an hour before sunset! This should be carefully considered when selecting the start time of your ceremony if you’d like to get those “golden hour” shots!
